PPL start thinking about H poles when we select trees from the forest.
Our sister company Rundvirke Skog manually selects trees for pairing into H poles based on height, grade, natural bow and parallel dimension.
Each pair is matched, drilled and fabricated on a solid butted bench that can accommodate lengths of up to 25m prior to treatment allowing for easy on site assembly.
Prior to treatment each pair is uniquely banded together – a strong safety feature which avoids site teams re-organising pole stacks to find matching legs, reduces manual handling and ensures correct pairing.
